What a good night we had as a family decorating the house tonight! :) X-mas songs playing, the whole family involved, everyone sooo happy, oh how I love X-mas!!! At the end of the night, I turned off all lights and we all sat in front of your X-mas tree just staring at it! :) This is such a good season, enjoy it!!!

My big thanks goes to ...
Airplanes!!! Oh boy, how I wish I could hop into a flight home today so I could be with my family!!! Hug my sweet parents, laugh with my brothers and sister, snuggle with my cute nephews, have my children being spoiled by grandparents, ... just be a family! Is that too much to ask? It brings me tears to my eyes how my children dont get to experience what I had my whole life which is having extended family around you. Oh, how I loved going over to grandpa and grandmas house! Oh, how I loved hanging out with uncles, aunts and cousins. I remember how exciting sleep overs were! Oh, how I loved all sorts of holidays and b-days parties that were shared with all the family. I sure knew I was loved by all. :) Yes, I know what you are thinking, why are we still in Utah, huh? Ive been here for the last 14 years, yes that long, away from my country, my roots, my food, MY FAMILY!!! :( I have thoughts about packing often but its not as simple as packing and leaving! Life is complicated, huh? :) Just wish I could make people see the importance of things and make they change, but who am I, huh? All I can do is to assure my beatiful princess and sweet boy we love them! Put them on the phone with loved ones, look over and over at pictures, get them excited about the next vacation they will be taking to see loved ones! :) I sure hope and pray to the day I will not feel like this anymore but until that day comes I will keep dreaming about a change!!! :)

Sundance!
About a week ago we made an attempt to go to Sundance to still find the last of fall there. I told the kids we were going on a pretty drive through the canyon, go see pretty colors of fall with friends and to finish take them to get some treats at the shop. We get there and what did we find??? No fall colors, no shops open, nothing but cold freazing weather. We found snow on the ground and no treats! Kids ran to the snow as soon as the saw it and ran back as soon as their hands were frozen by playing with the snow with no gloves on. Oh, and not to forget my friends baby having diarrhea issues, haha ... poor thing! We were there for a few minutes and back to the car. What a bummer! My sweet friend then had the idea to go to the chocolate factory to finally get us some sugar and make us all happy! Thanks for the pictures you took and for the laughs, Ju! :)

Give Thanks!!!
After Halloween decoration was put back to storage I decorated a little bit for Thanksgiving. Theres this little saying on top of our dinner table that the kids have been talking about it as they eat on the table. The saying says, Give Thanks, and at first I remember talking to them how important is to be thankful and also to express it. Today we did a little activity for the kids to write down or to draw what they were thankful for! :) Jackson was so cute in drawing our family for what he was thankful for and made sure we were all holding hands on the drawing, haha ... I love that boy! Bella worked really hard on writing her list of all the things she was thankful for. She is working so hard in writing, reading, sounding sounds and math at school. We are so proud of you for your hard work, Bella! We are thankful for having two beatiful children that can express somehow their thankfulness! We love you!

Butterflies! :)
Caterpillars to cocoons, cocoons to butterflies! Our project has been soo much fun to observe it! The butterflies came out of their cocoons about a week ago and the kids have been so happy watching them in their little house! Today we decided to let them go but before that we let them out in our living room. Bella and Jack were soo excited to touch and run around these butterflies that they first saw as caterpillars, then cocoons and then to beatiful butterflies. We sure had fun with this project and like Bella said, "We will miss them"! :)

Halloween celebration at the Sweat's!
The Sweat family had us over for Halloween celebration at their house. We had yummy food, took the kids trick or treating, hung out and finish the night by walking through the coolest decorated Halloween house ever that Karli knew about it. Thank you guys for your friendship, we always have a blast with you! :)
