Bella's recitals on 2012! :)

Bella had a violin and a gymnastics recital a few weeks ago. On her violin recital she had the opportunity to have Vava in town to accompany her on the piano. It was sure beatiful to see grandma and granddaughter play together. Awesome job, girls! :) On her gymnastics recital, Bella had the pleasure to have grandma Sotelo from Seattle and Vava from Brasil in town to watch her as they thought about the old days, they both did gymnastics as little girls. Bella got awards on different categories. Good job on both recitals, Bella! :)

I am a lucky girl to have my mom come all the way from Brasil to take care of me and my family for a whole month when I have a baby. Thank you mom for taking care of our children while I was at the hospital. Thank you for all the gifts you gave to Lucy. Thank you for having our house clean and organized when I got back from the hospital, it really made me feel good and loved! :) Thank you for the laughs! Thank you for every night that you said to me, "I love you and if you need anything just come get me". Thank you for all the fun times! :) Love you!

Christmas activities

I love traditions. My mom always made holidays magical and I want my kids to have special memories when they grow up as I do now. Here is a list of what I would love to do this holiday season as a family. Some activities are already checked out but can't wait to have all them checked out. Let's all make memories!!! :) Here is the list: Jared's gingerbread cookies as we make our gingerbread house. Decorate the house as a family with Christmas music. Have kids write a letter to Santa. Kiss under mistletoe. Deliver a secret gift to someone in need. Visit Temple Square. Go see live reindeer at Thanksgiving Point. Christmas Bingo with dear friends. Visit Gardner Village. Read the scriptures about the birth of the Savior. Get a picture with Santa. Make a Christmas countdown. Have Jared to put Christmas lights so Santa can find our house. (Bella's believe) Wrap presents with Jared on Christmas Eve.

Lucy's Birth! :)

Lucy was born on November 27th at 2:28 pm, weighing 8 lb 3 oz and measuring 20.5 inches. She is beatiful and has brought so much happiness and love to our family. We love her so much. My cousin Vanessa visited us at the hospital and captured beatiful memories that we will keep dear to our hearts! :) In love with you, Lucy! :)

Halloween fun is over, let November begin! :)

So many Halloween activities during the month of October that I can't even start to list them! It was so much fun and the kids had a blast! :) Now, let November start! We took all our Halloween decorations down a few days ago and I love how my simple "Give Thanks" decor is looking on my living room! :) Happy November, everyone! :)

Jack's field trip to Cornbelly's

Of course I volunteered to go to Jack's field trip when I signed up to go to Bella's field trip, gotta be fair, right? :) Jack's field trip was to go to Thanksgiving point and have fun at Cornbelly's. The kids had a blast but I frooze my butt off with how windy and cold yesterday was. Thank goodness for the two hot chocolates I got that helped me feel a little bit better! :) Thanks Jack for the fun and excitement of having me with you on your field trip, love you, sweet boy! :)

Violin!

One of the choices for after classes at Bella's school is violin and Bella has been talking for a while now how she wanted to learn and take the class. So last week when they opened the sign ups for the next block I enrolled her and off we went to rent a violin to start this coming wed. The class is going to be with a group of kids and I really wanted her to have a one on one experience at the beggining to really learn the basics, to feel confortable and not give up so I signed her up for privates. She had her first private class tonight and I was amazed by the teacher she's got. The teacher had me stay in class the whole time watching what she was teaching Bella and take notes so I can help Bella practice at home. Bella wanted to practice right away after getting home and is soo excited about it. I am really happy for her to be able to have private classes and group classes at her school. Violin is sure an instrument that needs lots of patience, practice and passion. Way to go, Bella, for wanting to try it out, I am proud of you! :)

Bella's field trip to Hee Haw farm!

I volunteered to go to Bella's fild trip yesterday and so glad I did. She was so happy to see me when I got to school and was very excited to show all her friends who her mommy was which made me feel really special! :) We went to Hee Haw farm in Pleasant Grove where these kids had a blast visiting the petting zoo, going to the corn maze and picking out pumpkins at the pumpkin pactch. Had lots of fun spending time with you and your class, Bella! :)

Halloween decor! :)

Oh boy, do we go big with decorating our house for Halloween or what? Bella & Jack love Halloween and sure were excited to decorate and see the house ready for the holiday! :) Can not wait for a fun month of Halloween festivities!

Baby name announcement! - 32 weeks baby bump
