Hunger Games

I along with the girls in my book club went to watch Hunger Games last friday and it was so good! I did cry, I did laugh and I did cry again! :) I LOVED IT!!! I am so happy I am part of an amazing group of girls that love to have fun, read and laugh! Thanks, girls!

American citizenship

After a bunch of paper work, studying for the civil test and of course a good amount of money, I became officially an American this week along with friends Semi and Patricia. Special thanks to my American mom Diane for being there at my ceremony and treating me to lunch. And yes, I am still a Brazilian and will be forever! :)

Happy St Patrick's day! :)

We started celebrating St Patrick's day with green bowls, green spoons and lucky charms. Kids loved wearing their green shirts. Bella and Jack loved their St Patrick's basquet I put together for them. Of course I didn't forget Jared that proposed to me today 11 years ago. Happy St Patrick's day, everyone!!!

Leprechaun lunch! :)

Bella loved helping me make leprechaun lunch to give to her teacher as they were celebration St Patrick's day at school yesterday! :)

Pastel

"Pastel" is a typical Brazilian snack prepared using dough that takes the form of a box or envelope, filled and then fried. It is delicious and I sure miss it! :( The closest thing to the "pastel" dough you can find here is the egg roll wrappers and thats what I use. Everyone in our home loves to eat "pastel" when we are in Brazil so I finally purchased a deep fryer and went to town yesterday! :) I made Jared a yummy mexican filling one, kids got ham and cheese and I of course made me an amazing nutella and strawberry pastel. Oh, sooo good! :)

Tennis & Karate

Bella was soo excited to go to her first tennis class today and Jackson for his first karate class. :) They both looked so cute with their uniforms and did so good. Have fun, guys!!!

Mason jars

I've been looking for mason jars to use for decoration at our house and I so scored with this aqua blue ones I found at the antique store. Love the color and the touch these mason jars give! :)
